The Transitions Of Change

Transitions are the in-between spaces from what was to what will be.  When we move away from the known into the unknown, there is a kind of unfamiliar energy.  For some, it is a nervousness; others experience it as excitement; most agree it is uncomfortable.  Transition precedes transformation and transformation cannot occur without transitions.

The first awareness of transition may be barely noticeable, like being bored with a once-interesting television show.  Or as dramatic as "I just can't live like this anymore!"  Usually there is a sense of desire driving us in a certain direction.  Both feelings are murmurs of change to come.
