Dr. Lana and her husband (pictured above), Lynn Staheli, M.D., are co-founders of Global HELP (Health Education through Low-cost Publications).

A non-profit organization, Global HELP offers free medical information resources to developing countries.  They started Global HELP in a response of the 9/11 tragedy with the idea of leveling the disparity of access to health-care.  They believe that desperate people act in desperate ways heightening chaos and disharmony.

Since 2002, when the organization was founded, medical professionals around the globe have viewed and downloaded more than ten million books, pamphlets, posters, and videos.
