Question Answered: Snoring

Dr. Lana here.  A "Chat With Women" KIXI 880 AM listener asks, "Is it bad for a relationship if my husband and I don't sleep together?  His snoring is so loud, it feels like an earthquake and sounds like a fog-horn".

I believe it is best to sleep together.  It adds affection and intimacy to your relationship.  It is something you don't do with anyone else, hopefully.  Having said that, sleep is more important.  If you are awakening during the night because of your partner, move to another bed and sleep.  Many couples go to bed together, but get up and move later.  Cuddling is important.  But health is more important.

Here is a link for anyone who is with someone who snores.  It's actually a health risk:  http://www.webmd.com/sleep-disorders/snoring-basic.
